Luxury Branding Logo For A New Client Project: RG Bespoke

Client: RG Bespoke
Luxury Bespoke Furniture and Interior Consultant

RG Bespoke is owned and run by Rob Grandison. With over a decade of experience working in residential interiors and furniture. Partnering up with a number of local cabinet makers and trusted trades, creating beautiful rooms and furniture for people across the UK.

This client came to us in search of a creative agency to complete a website refresh and recreate their brand identity. With an already existing website and logo, the client felt that he was confusing potential clients in what he offered. The client has a variety of offerings, he wanted to make it clear and concise through a refreshed identity and accompanying website. RG Bespoke is a personal consultant service and this had to remain within the identity of the brand and tone of voice used across this site. However, Rob wanted to ensure his clients that it would be a personal experience every step of the way and through every touchpoint made.

What we did.

LUXURY BRANDING LOGO

Your logo design is the one thing that your customers will see before anything else. It’s often the first point of contact for prospective clients or customers.

This means that this logo redesign was not about reinventing the wheel. Instead, it was about sticking to what is at the heart of the business and the brand. However, Robs previous logo was still personal to him and his business but it didn’t have a luxury look or feel to it like his work does.

Typography led the way when refreshing this logo, looking at cleaner more elegant fonts that would attract the target customer. With a business like RG Bespoke, your identity and style are at the heart of everything you do. This newly designed logo is more flexible to marketing materials, stationery and web design. In turn, this will enhance the personal experience of the brand.

Creating a luxury brand and logo takes time…

Let’s look at a typical example of logo design and the time it can take.
30 mins – replying to email and asking a bit more info, and arranging a meeting
1 hour – initial meeting
2 hours – research/inspiration & coffee drinking
4 hours – initial ideas and sketches for a logo design
2 hours – application/refinement of ideas into a presentation document
1 hour – getting feedback, digesting, conjugation
2 hours – refinements to logo following feedback
1 hour – final logo presentation
1.5 hour – preparation of logo into all various formats
1 hour – additional correspondence time (phone/email)

Summary
Total time spent at this stage: 16 hours x hourly rate = your logo cost… And that’s it! – you have the start of a logo cost equation.
In reality, we may sometimes get the logo right first time but this is a good measure of time for the projects we’ve been involved in over the past few years.

Luxury Brand Development

After fully understanding the client brief and the personal aspect of the business we were able to create a proposal.  The client wanted the customer to feel confident and this had to be portrayed through branding, messaging and design across all forms of communication.

A total of 75% of website users make judgments about a company’s credibility based on visual design alone. Designs that look modern and professional tend to encourage trust. Meanwhile, a poorly designed website might make someone doubt your legitimacy.

A customer must trust your business and the services that you offer. The purpose of this website is to show the client the high-level quality of work from RG Bespoke. From this, they will then make contact with Rob to arrange a further conversation. It is this essential customer touchpoint that was missing in his previous website.

A brand is not simply defined by your logo, it is defined by everything you do. For most clients, imagery is an integral part of their brand identity, yet they fail to use the style of imagery they want their potential clients to see.

For a business like RG Bespoke, every element of the design and manufacture process is bespoke to the client, making every project different. The main goal in the brand development and web design for this client was to better to show off his skills through imagery taken of past and present projects. This will better allow customers to see a gallery of beautifully designed, bespoke kitchens and furniture.
