How the race affects Broadway, & how we can join in

Tour of Britain route through Broadway

Tour of Britain route through Broadway

The race will pass through Broadway, as it comes from the Evesham direction, to the Collin Lane roundabout, up the bypass, right at the next roundabout onto the Leamington Road, turn right onto the High Street and then left by the Green and onwards and upwards to Snowshill and beyond.

There will be an intermediate sprint stage on the Leamington Road, which means there is likely to be some drama there, as there are points to be won by the sprinters, and it means Broadway will get a large mention on the TV and media.

Road Closure

The High Street from the mini roundabout to The Swan will be closed from 10-11.00 approx. for the Broadway races.
And  for the main Tour of Britain Race 12-12.30 approx
The other roads approaching Broadway, and the Snowshill road and beyond will be closed in a rolling road closure 15 minutes in advance of the race. As it is a race the timings are approximate.
As soon as the race passes through the roads will be back to normal.

Just as we were putting this banner up, 2 Skoda cars from the tour of Britain happened to go by and give us a toot, which was nice.
