According to Meta, threads is a text-based conversation app. It is designed to be a space “where communities come together to discuss everything from the topics you care about today to what’ll be trending tomorrow.” Whatever it is you’re interested in, you can follow and connect directly with your favourite creators. Threads is an extremely new platform and offers a real opportunity for brands. Currently, a lot of brands are using it as a place to test a more conversational and fun tone of voice. This means moving away from brand messaging and marketing communications.
