Broadway High Street seen from a cherry picker
I had a great time this morning helping Nigel from Broadway Traders remove the Christmas lights from the trees on Broadway High Street, employing Pete and his cherry picker. I was very honoured to be allowed in the bucket of the cherry picker, as I thought I’d have the boring jobs, but no I had the glamour job which was great fun, seemed suitably daring, and was for a good cause. Pete was a proficient driver, but I secretly eye-balled a safe landing ledge, branch or rooftop to leap to, should the thing topple over.
See the whole set of pics I took here apologies for camera shake, er I was shaking.
